What's New

7/18/08 --  I'm scheduled to appear on Cincinnati's Sacred Heart Radio Wedensday 7/23/08 at 7:20 am to recommend some Catholic Summer reading. So please consider becoming a listener -- and reader.

Last Wednesday in Arlington Heights, Illinois, I gave a live workshop on Fit for Eternal Life to a provincial gathering of the clerics of St. Viator (including a some of my own high school teachers.)  What a fine and gracious group of dedicated clergy and lay associates!  My wife and I were treated grandly.  The Viatorians are involved in education and a variety of other good works. I'm posting a link to their website in my links section.

6/3/08 -- Some new radio interviews are being lined up.  I'll be on with Jerry Usher of Catholic Answers Live on July 7th, taking calls about Memorize the Faith! (I'll provide more details later.)  I'll appear for a brief spot for the fourth time with Brain Patrick of Sacred Heart Radio of Cincinnati on July 23rd at 7:20 AM to recommend five Catholic books for summer reading.  Interestingly, John McNichol, author of The Tripods Attack, emailed me yesterday to say he'd heard through the publishing grapevine that I enjoyed his book, and that is quite true. His fast-paced novel featuring a young G. K. Chesterton as the hero, is among the books I'll be recommending. Check out the Publisher link on this site to take you to Sophia Institute, to learn more about his book (and mine as well, if you're so inclined.)
